About Us

Jestar Music (El Shammah Music) was formed in 2009 by musicians & teachers Karl & Christina Dietrich with the aim of providing excellence in educational music, for a variety of musical needs.

Karl and Christina are both professional singers and pianists, with considerable experience in the entertainment industry they have been involved in numerous musical theatre productions.

In the church setting, they have co-ordinated many Easter and Christmas concerts. Their original version of Psalm 23 won them first prize in the Sonshine FM songwriting competition.

Both have extensive experience as music teachers in primary and secondary schools. They have been involved in classroom and private teaching as well as running choirs and instrumental ensembles.

Their song Tapping Your Feet was included as part of the ABC SING 2009 series.
